2006 Fender Japan AST-100DMC Aerodyne Special Stratocaster (Walnut Stained)
Made in Japan in 2006, the AST-100 was one of the original Aerodyne Special models from Fender with a pretty significant cosmetic upgrade from a standard Aerodyne! Bound alder body with a curly maple cap, oval profile maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (9.5" radius, 42mm nut width), it weighs 3.6kg's.
Originally these were factory loaded with very unpopular Dimarzio Collection pickups and the previous owner took the borderline psychopathic route by having three Seymour Duncan mini humbuckers installed (SL59-1N Little '59 SCR-1 in the neck, Cool Rails in the middle and a SJBJ JB Jr in the bridge position).
Looks to be all original other than the pickups/wiring and is overall in good cosmetic condition. Restrung and serviced prior to listing and plays and sounds great. Frets have some light play wear but were polished and play well, truss works as it should and the neck is straight.
