2002 Fender Japan TC72-70 '72 Reissue Telecaster Custom (Black)
Made by the Tokai factory in 2002, the Fender TC72-70 was their reissue of the 1972 Telecaster Custom. Only available in gloss black, these are made with an ash body, one-piece maple neck (7.25" radius, 21 frets) and it weighs a hefty 4.2kg's. Original Fender Japan pickups (a TL-CURRENT single coil in the bridge and a TN-HUMBUCKING wide-range in the neck) and string-through ash-tray bridge, it appears to be all stock.
Restrung and given a basic setup and service prior to listing, a few dings and signs of use as pictured but no repairs or breaks. Frets are smooth with plenty of life and were polished, truss works well and the neck is straight.
