Japanese made by the Fujigen factory in 1993, the ST54-70 was a premium model from the Fender Japan catalog. Looks to be an ash (sen) body with a brown sunburst finish, one-piece maple neck with a '54 V profile and 7.25" radius, loaded with aftermarket Fender Custom Shop single coils controlled by a 5-way selector, this one weighs an uncharactaristically heavy 4.5kg's.
The previous owner has buffed this down with steel wool to remove the glossy finish as pictured and there's a little bit of relic work done to the body to match the seemingly naturally relic'd neck and fingerboard. Truss works well and the frets were polished prior to a restring and basic setup, the pots were flushed and lubed and the jack was cleaned so it sounds as it should.
