Made by the Fujigen factory in 1991 before being refinished professionally in 2023, the ST62-770LS was Fender Japan's '62 Reissue Stratocaster with factory Lace Sensor pickups. We'd say this is closest to a metallic Burgundy Mist acrylic/enamel finish on an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Fender Lace Sensor single coil pickups controlled by a 5-way selector, the active mid boost circuit was removed from this one and it now has standard Stratocaster wiring. Looks to have a replacement neck plate and pickguard along with two new Alpha pots, the bridge, saddles and tuners are all original.
The refinished body is in mint condition and overall the rest of the guitar is in reasonable vintage condition with basic wear and tear. The hardware has some light patina and the plastics have faded, the neck is straight with an adjustable truss and the frets are shiny with some light pitting. Restrung and given a full professional service prior to listing.
