Made for Washburn by the Yamaki factory in Japan, this is a seldom seen Falcon model from the wing series with a factory loaded tremolo system. Lightly flamed maple flat-top double cutaway construction with a two-piece solid ash back, slim mahogany neck and a beautiful 22 fret striped rosewood fingerboard (41mm nut, 628mm scale length), it weighs 3.7kg's. Seemingly all original with a pair of Dimarzio-style Power Sustain humbuckers (coil splittable on push/pull knobs), Stratocaster style two-point tremolo system with soft brass saddles and George Washburn branded tuners.
Very good vintage condition with a few light cosmetic dings as pictured, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard oil, fret polish and truss adjustment. The frets are shiny with plenty of life left and the neck is straight.
