Tokai Talbo (Tokai Aluminium Body) guitars were introduced in 1980 and feature a solid aluminium body with a chamber underneath the pickguard. These were known for having a crystal clear clean tone that resonates beautifully both acoustically and plugged-in. This is a 1983 model A-100D with a faded gold finish on the body bolted to a maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood board, weighs 3.9kg's. Loaded with a pair of Tokai branded passive humbuckers controlled by a three-way toggle and master volume/tone controls.

If you're Australian (and old..), you'll likely recognise these from their use with INXS. Nile Rodgers is rumoured to have put Tim Farriss onto Tokai’s Talbo Blazing Fire. Tim went on to use the Talbo for decades.

Lightly used condition as pictured with some light signs of wear. Frets are shiny with plenty of life, they were polished prior to listing along with a fretboard oil. Truss works well and the neck is straight.
