Japanese made by the Matsumoku factory in early 1982, the CS-400 was one of Aria Pro II's simplistic double cutaway models. Unlike the one smashed by Kurt Cobain, this is a higher end model with a set-neck construction built with a sen ash body, maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length), it weighs 4.2kg's. Factory loaded with a pair of split-table Protomatic pickups controlled by a three-way selector and a master volume/tone knob, the rest of the switches and wiring have been removed by the previous owner (with tape over the excess holes so it's easily reverted). The tuners were also upgraded by the previous owner to Gotoh 510's, so it's a simple players gem.

Good overall vintage condition as pictured with a few signs of wear and tear as pictured and the previously mentioned mods. The frets are clean and play well with a straight neck and adjustable truss.
