Made in Japan in the 1980's, the WJ-25 was a replica of the Everly Brothers model Gibson J-180. Solid spruce top with a mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard. All the aesthetic trimmings including the famous moustache pickguard and star inlays on the fretboard and headstock, it weighs 2kg's.
Good vintage condition as pictured with some basic wear, received a restring and basic setup prior to listing including a fret polish and fretboard oil. Frets show some wear and light pitting but are shiny and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss, plays well with a medium action, bridge was slotted by the previous owner and it's got replacement tuners.
