1980 Fernandes Japan FEG-150 (BC Rich Eagle) Neckthrough w/Dimarzio's (Natural)
Made in Japan by Fernandes in 1980, the FEG series were very high end copies designed to replicate the flagship BC Rich Eagle model. The FEG-150 features a neckthrough maple/chestnut construction with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length, 42mm nut width) and weighs 3.8kg's.
Loaded with the original Dimarzio PAF/Dual Sound humbucker combination and a full original Varitone system with "Master Volume", "Master Tone" and "Overdrive Volume" knobs, a three-way pickup selector, a 6-way "Varitone" switch, two "Dual Sound" mini toggles and a "Booster" mini toggle that are all working as they should be. The original Grover tuners, bone nut and one-piece wraparound tailpiece keep it intonated and in tune perfectly.
Clean overall vintage condition as pictured with regular wear and cosmetic blemishes. There's some slight separation in the finish along the factory joins on the body/neck and a few small bumps and bruises but no structural damage or repairs. The neck is nice and straight and the truss is adjustable, frets are clean with some light playwear but play smooth and are shiny with plenty of life left.
