1997 Burny Hide (X Japan) MG-130S Mockingbird w/Sustainer (Black)
Made by Burny in Japan, this was one of the 10 different Mockingbird signature models listed in the catalog for Hide of the band X Japan (and the only MG-130S model we've ever seen in black).
Basswood body, maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length, 12" radius), it weighs a very nimble 3.3kg's. Loaded with the famous Fernandes Sustainer system, it's got the original VH-401/CD-100F humbucker combination, the original 3-way selector, master volume control and direct output switch are working perfectly. Has brand new switches installed for the sustainer controls.
Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, fretboard oil and restring. Neck has a little dip/relief around the 12th that isn't being straightened out by the truss but overall it plays well.
