1985 Fender Japan ST72-65 Blackmore Scalloped Stratocaster (Aged Olympic White)
Part of the highly desirable "A Series" of guitars made by the Fujigen factory in the 1980's, this is a rare "unofficial" Richie Blackmore model in Olympic White. This one dates to 1985 (on the neck heel) and is built with a basswood body with a maple neck and a factory scalloped rosewood fingerboard. 7.25" radius with a nice slim C profile neck, weighs 3.6kg's. Has a brand new Tusq nut installed, the previous owner replaced the original Japanese single coils with unknown pickups.
Good vintage condition with some dings and finish fading as pictured, frets are shiny and the neck is straight with a perfectly functional truss. Professionally serviced prior to listing.
