1979 Yamaha Japan BB800 Broad Bass (Black)
Japanese made in 1979, the BB-800 was Yamaha's attempt at redesigning the Fender Precision Bass. Double cutaway alder body with a gloss black finish, maple neck, it weighs 4.5kg's. 43mm nut width with a full scale 21 fret slab rosewood fingerboard, it's loaded with a P style pickup controlled by master volume/tone knobs.
Appears all original and received a basic setup and service prior to listing. Neck is straight and the truss adjusts as it should, frets have plenty of wear but still play well. Has some cosmetic wear as pictured but no breaks or repairs.
