Our friends at Tokai recently invited us to come over to Japan and dig through their NOS warehouse to handpick a mountain of parts to offer to the public, giving ya'll the incredibly rare opportunity to grab yourself some true "New Old Stock" products!
These Gotoh branded humbuckers feature the Aria Pro II branding on the covers and appear to likely be AH-1 models used in some of the shreddier guitars from the late 1980's. Not sure how Tokai ended up with them but they were likely assembling guitars for Aria Pro II after the Matsumoku factory closed. They include the pickup ring and mounting springs/screws but no screws to mount the ring to the body. Please check the pics for dimensions and multi-meter readings.
They've never been installed in guitars and still have the plastic covers on them as pictured, we've removed the plastic from one for the purposes of getting some good pictures. We've also removed the black cover from one to reveal a plain black humbucker with some sticky residue if you ever want to remove the Aria branding, all pickups sold will be original with the cover and plastic film intact. They have some slight marking/surface blemishes from being stored and moved but nothing major.
