1984 Squier Japan ST-552 JV Series HH Contemporary Stratocaster (Black)
Some of the most sought after Japanese guitars ever made, the JV series are some of the highest quality vintage Fender guitars to ever come out of Japan and have been steadily rising in value for the last 10 years. This is an ST-552 model that was part of the Contemporary series of guitars made "For the Metallist, By the Metallist".
Full blackout aesthetic with a C shape maple neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (10" radius, 25.5" scale length, medium jumbo frets). Two Dragstar humbuckers with a three way toggle give a real Les Paul sound, master volume and tone controls for simplicity. 6-point Stratocaster tremolo with what look to be brass saddles.
Received a basic restring and service prior to listing, neck is beautiful and plays super smooth, plenty of life left in the frets. Good cosmetic condition with wear as pictured and some surface checking to the thick black glossy finish.
