Our friends at Tokai recently invited us to come over to Japan and dig through their NOS warehouse to handpick a mountain of parts to offer to the public, giving ya'll the incredibly rare opportunity to grab yourself some true "New Old Stock" products!
These are the tuners that the Tokai factory used for many years on their Stratocaster and Telecaster builds between 1980 and 1985 (based on the "Deluxe" marking on the back). They've never been installed and have aged slightly from being stored for over 30 years, meaning they'll perfectly match a used/vintage guitar (unlike a shiny new set that won't match the ageing of the rest of the hardware). These machine heads are significantly higher quality than most Chinese sets and were likely made by Gotoh, they're smooth and responsive.
We've used these on a number of Fender Japan models as pictured and they fit perfectly. Unfortunately there's no screws or bushings included. We've got a huge box of these as pictured so contact us if you're after more than we have listed.
