Made in Japan by Fernandes in 1989, the TEJ is an ultra-modern variation on the Fender Telecaster design. The TEJ-95S was a high-end model model with a basswood body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (22 frets 13.75" radius, 648mm scale length), weighs just under 4kg's. These came factory loaded with the full Sustainer system that features two mini toggles (on/off and harmonic selector) for a variety of sustain options. Previous owner replased the humbucker with an unbranded humbucker wired with a coil split on an added toggle along with installing an aftermarket pickguard.
Good overall condition with a few minor dings here and there. Received a full professional service prior to listing including new strings, fretboard oil, fret polish and a truss adjustment, plays and sounds great. Frets have some light wear but are shiny and play smoothly.
