1981 Greco Japan EG-500 Super Power Les Paul Standard (Cherry Sunburst)
Made by the Fujigen factory in 1981, the Greco EG-500 Super Power was a mid-tier model from the Japanese catalog. Mahogany back with a lightly carved maple top, slim 60's profile mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a hefty 4.7kg's. Original Maxon PU humbuckers with the original switch and wiring along with the original Greco Deluxe vintage tuners.
Overall it's in good vintage condition with basic signs of wear from 40 years of use. The hardware has some patina and the plastics have yellowed, the finish has a few small bumps/scratches but there's no breaks or repairs anywhere. Given a full setup and service prior to listing including a fretboard clean/oil, fret polish, truss adjustment and electronics flush. The frets have plenty of life left and play well with some light pitting, neck is straight and plays well.
