Made by the Matsumoku factory in 1974, this SE-500W is one of those classic old Greco Stratocasters that is a joy to own. Nice solid body with a rounded maple neck and 21 fret fingerboard, it weighs 3.7kg's. Loaded with the original Maxon Excel single coils controlled by a three-way toggle, appears to be all original or very close to it.
Had a a full teardown and deep clean prior to listing with all the hardware polished and cleaned. Restrung and given a basic setup, frets are the "fretless wonder" style (like most of these models), light pitting and play wear with an adjustable truss and straight neck.
