Made by the Tokai factory in Japan for the 1997 catalog, the PB57-53 was Fender Japan's 1957 Precision Bass reissue without the price tag. Basswood body with a gloss black finish, 20 fret maple neck (7.25" radius, 42mm nut width), it weighs just over 4kg's. Seems to be all original except a brand new bone nut that was installed prior to listing, factory loaded with full sized tuners and a Fender Japan P bass pickup controlled by volume and tone knobs.
Good used condition as pictured with some finish wear and tear from basic use. Neck is straight and the frets are shiny with plenty of life, truss works as it should and the pots/output jack were flushed and sound great.
