Made by Kasuga in the late 1970's and sold under the well respected Heerby name, this PB-550N is a great example of what years of playing in smoke filled bars will do to a guitar. Ash body with a faded sunburst finish, one-piece maple neck (20 frets, 42mm nut width), it weighs 4kg's. Appears to be all original except for a new jack and one replacement knob.
Players grade as pictured with some heavy patina to all the hardware and the finish, however it's been played well over the years and feels very comfortable. The hardware all still functions perfectly well, the tuners turn smoothly and the grub screws all turn with ease. Truss works as it should and the neck is straight, the frets are shiiny with plenty of life left.
