Made in December of 1982 for release in their 1983 catalog, the VB-50 was Greco's premium "Beatle Bass" model. With a spruce/sycamore hollow body and a set maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a nimble 3.15kg's. Loaded with a pair of Maxon produced bass humbuckers and traditional Hofner style controls/wiring, it's strung with some flatwounds and has the perfect "pop".
Very clean vintage condition as pictured with light cosmetic wear and tear as pictured. The neck was adjusted along with a fretboard oil and fret polish prior to a professional setup, it plays well with a functional truss and straight neck. Appears to be all original.
