The closest thing you will get to a Japanese made Gibson is something with Orville on the headstock! Made by the Fujigen factory in 1997, the LPS-80F was a mid-range model from the Orville catalog featuring a mahogany body with a solid maple top (flaunting a Cherry Sunburst "fotoflame" laminate), a mahogany slim 60's neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. Weighing in at 4.4kg's, it's loaded with some aftermarket Gotoh humbuckers, Grover tuners as well as new pickup rings and a replacement Japanese bridge/tailpiece.
Clean used condition as pictured with basic signs of wear and tear from general use (and some replacement parts as mentioned above). Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, truss adjustment, restring and deep clean. The frets are shiny with some pitting and playwear but they play smoothly as they sit.
