Made by the Fujigen factory in 1991, the ST-500VR was a modernised Stratocaster model from Fender Japan. With a solid body, maple neck and 22 fret rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.6kg's. This one's had the pickups and wiring replaced with generic single coils along with an aftermarket neck plate and screws, still has the original Fender branded bridge and Gotoh tuners.
This one has some unfortunate cracks in the body that seem solid with no huge amount of movement even under heavy pressure. Might be worth having them glued and clamped though to reduce any further separation. Received a basic setup and service before listing. Sold as-is.
