Here we've got a Fender Japan ST-556 model that was part of the original Contemporary series of guitars made "For the Metalist, By the Metalist" (according to their catalog).
Full blackout aesthetic with a C shape painted maple neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (12" radius, 25.5" scale length, medium jumbo frets). Loaded with two original Fender Hot Rod single coils and an aftermarket Dimarzio Evolution humbucker in the bridge position, the previous owner also converted the bridge to a 2-point Stratocaster bridge system.
Received a basic restring and service prior to listing, the neck is nice and straight and plays super smooth, there's life left in the frets and they play well as they sit. Good cosmetic condition with wear as pictured and some surface blemishes to the thick black glossy finish.
