Japanese made in 2002, this is a hot-rodded version of the Fernandes FRB-65 that was designed with a lot of inspiration from the Musicman Stingray. Sunburst finish on an alder body with a 21 fret maple neck (34" scale length, 39mm nut width), it weighs 4.5kg's. Loaded with two FMM-1 bass humbuckers and an aftermarket Bartolini NTBT-918 2-Band EQ/Preamp system that absolutely roars. The control layout features a master volume with a push pot to activate the preamp, bass/treble controls, a three-way pickup selector and two mini toggles to split the coils on the humbuckers so you've got no shortage of options to dial in.
Good overall condition with basic signs of wear, looks to be all original except for the preamp/wiring. Given a full setup and service prior to listing, the frets have plenty of life in them and play smoothly with a straight neck and a fully adjustable truss.
