Made in Japan in the 1990's for the Japanese market (hence the full Gibson aesthetic with an open book headstock and Gibson style inlays), the EGB-850 was Greco's interpretation of a short-scale Les Paul Custom bass. Solid mahogany body with a maple top and set maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard (24 frets, 770mm scale length, 39mm nut width), it weighs 4.6kg's. The previous owner loaded with with a pair of active EMG's (original pickups not included) controlled by a pair of volume/tone knobs and a three-way pickup selector.
Reasonable condition for a well played bass that's had 30 years of regular use with a few signs of cosmetic wear and tear but no breaks/repairs to be seen. Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a truss adjustment, fretboard oil and restring.
