The September 2010 issue of Guitar World ranked the Mockingbird as "the coolest guitar of all time".

Part of the NJ series ("Nagoya, Japan", not "New Jersey"), this was a Japanese made beast of a bass that will shake just about any wall you put in front of it. Made in 1989 (dated from the pot codes), it's built with a maple body bolted to a "Super Wood" Stratabond neck with an ebonic fingerboard (24 frets, 860mm scale length) and weighs just under 4kg's.

Given a full professional service and setup including a fret polish, truss adjustment and restring. Frets have plenty of life left and the neck is straight, seems all original except for the missing truss rod cover.
