Made in Japan for Vestax (the famous audio/electronics company) factory likely in the 1990's. A previously de-fretted 5-string model Jazz Bazz with a transparent blue finish on an ash body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (45mm nut width), it weighs 4.1kg's. Loaded with Vestax branded pickups and an active two-band EQ with volume, pickup blend, treble and bass knobs, it's clear that this was a very high-end build at the time!
Given a basic service prior to listing including a fretboard clean and oil. Strung with a set of flatwounds and plays well with a straight neck, adjustable truss and fully functional electronics.
