Made in Japan for the domestic market, the MG series were superstrat style models made to compete with Ibanez superstrats and have sleek rounded contours and insanely good playability.

This is a limited edition Tak Matsumoto signature model from the late 80's/early 90's with a basswood body and 22 fret maple neck. Dual locking "Rockin' Magic Pro II" Floyd Rose tremolo system and a HSH pickup configuration with a simple master volume control and 5-way toggle give this some simplicity. Neon purple finish with black background looks really unique.

Weighs 3.3kg's. Plays nicely as is with cosmetic blemishes as pictured. Frets show signs of wear but are still very playable and have life left. Basic setup and service performed before listing. Middle pickup not working.
