Made in Japan by ESP and distributed by "Made Company" in around 1987 (based on the pot codes and the overall specs/style of the guitar and stamps), this is likely one of Zep's short-run models based on the guitar Akira Takasaki (of LOUNDESS) used throughout the 80's including the bands US dates in 1985. Solid alder body with a maple neck (slim C profile, 22 frets), it weighs 3.4kg's. Loaded with a pair of unbranded original and a top-mounted Floyd Rose tremolo system along with the traditional 6IL tuners mounted in a 3x3 layout. Single volume knob with a 3-way pickup selector and a straight-to-output mini toggle that bypasses the volume knob.

Good overall condition as pictured, it was given a full professional restring, and tremolo balance and setup prior to listing. The truss moves as it should and the neck is straight. There's plenty of life in the frets and they play smoothly.
