Made by the Matsumoku factory in 1984, the RSB Deluxe 5 is one of the rarer Japanese basses from Aria Pro II. Blackout aesthetic with a bolt on neck and a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard (45mm nut width, 860mm scale length), it weighs 4.1kg’s. Loaded with what is essentially the SB-900 electronics loadout (two pickups with coil splits, concentric volume and tone controls for each) for a huge range of tones.
This one has had the headstock logo removed and replaced with some stickers (easily removed), otherwise it appears to be all original. Truss was adjusted prior to listing and the neck is nice with a playable action that will adjust either way depending on your preference. Frets are shiny with plenty of life, electronics were serviced and sound great.
