These were mail-order guitars from Japan in the 1970's that were made by the Kiso Suzuki Violin Company. Modelled after the Fender Mustang, this is an oddball build that feels closer to a Teisco/Guyatone than a Fender. Solid body with an almost square profile maple neck and a striped rosewood fingerboard, it weighs 3.5kg's. 628mm scale length with a 44mm nut width, it's loaded with a pair of single coil passive pickups controlled by individual on/off slide switches, master volume/tone knobs and a kill switch mini toggle.

Good vintage condition as pictured with plenty of signs of wear and tear. Has a pretty large shim in the neck pocket to fix the neck angle, plays well as it sits with a smooth action. Appears to have an aftermarket control plate (from a jazz bass) and a replaced bridge.
