The kind of guitar that almost everyone dreams about but only a select few can actually handle. This is an unknown (headstock logo missing although two small holes remain where the badge would have been) Japanese replica of the Gibson EDS-1275 that was made in the mid 1970's. A big beefy mahogany body with two bolt-on maple necks and 20 fret rosewood fingerboards, it weighs 5.7kg's. This one wears all the Gibson trimmings including an open-book headstock and split inlays, it appears all original with Maxon made humbuckers (chrome covered on the 12 and zebra uncovered on the 6) that have plenty of clarity and bite.

Good vintage condition for it's age, it's definitely been played and has some light natural relic on the body and neck along with some patina on the hardware. Frets are high and shiny with plenty of life and the truss's adjust as they should, both necks are straight. Seems all original with the exception of some Gibson Deluxe tuners on the 6 string side.
