1990 Bill Lawrence Japan BKIM-60G Kaori Model Telecaster (Red/Gold)
Made in Japan by the Moridaira (Morris) company in 1990, this incredibly aesthetic Telecaster was a signature model for Kaori Okui. Transparent red finish on a sen ash body with a stained maple neck/fingerboard, it weighs 4.1kg's. The neck has a '54 profile with a slight V shape , 22 frets with a 648mm scale length. Loaded with factory Bill Lawrence pickups, a mirror gold pickguard and full gold hardware loadout make it look and sound spectacular.
Given a basic service prior to listing, frets are shiny and have plenty of life, truss is adjustable. Pots were flushed and work well, appears to be all original.
