Such a cute little Les Paul! Made in Japan by Edwards (a subsidiary of ESP), these were designed to both be a portable practice tool for touring musicians and an introduction to guitar for small budding musicians.
Featuring a 9v powered amplifier/speaker in the neck pickup position, it functions both standalone and through an external amplifier (or both at the same time for crazy feedback!). Volume and Tone controls for both the speaker and the pickup give plenty of tonal options along with a master off switch for the speaker. The beauty of the Humbucker sized speaker is that you can change it out for a regular pickup and have a fully functional mini Les Paul!
Figured maple top with mahogany back/neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard. 516mm scale length feels small but not overly suffocating, it's built just like any other Edwards Les Paul (but shrunk!).
Just back from a full professional setup and service, it's playing perfectly and is in good overall condition with some hardware patina/rust.
