2004 History Japan (by Fujigen) ZMS-CFS Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar (ES-339)
Made by the Fujigen factory (the place that made Japanese Fender models for over a decade) for distribution by the Shimamura stores in Japan only, History models were mostly high end using exotic woods and quality constructions.
The ZMS was made in 2004 and predates the Gibson ES-339. Designed to bring the warmth of an ES-335 to a more compact playing experience, it's made with a maple top with a mahogany back and centre block (weighs 3.3kg's). There's binding around the top and the back of the guitar has a sleek contour that sits comfortably in your lap along with a really soft neck join for easy access to the higher frets. 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with a medium profile mahogany neck, 44mm nut width.
Loaded with the original Louis BH-1 humbuckers that sound very smooth along with Grover tuners that do the job as perfectly as you'd expect.
Lightly used condition as pictured with no real notable signs of wear, frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life and the neck is straight with an adjustable truss.
