2003 History (Fujigen) Japan ZJ-CFS Jazz Bass (Sunburst)

Made by the Fujigen factory (the place that made Japanese Fender models for over a decade) for distribution by the Shimamura stores in Japan only, History models were mostly high end using exotic woods and quality constructions.

The ZJ model is a no frills Jazz Bass with an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and a sunburst finish. Loaded with high end pickups and electronics (cloth wires, full sized pots, Orange Drop cap) so it sounds as good as it looks. Weighs 4.1kg's.

Restrung prior to listing, plays nicely as it sits (although it could use some heavier strings to fit the nut correctly). Light cosmetic wear as pictured but no structural damage or repairs. Truss is functional and the neck is straight, fretboard was oiled and the frets were polished.
