2003 History (Fujigen Japan) Z1 '54 Reissue Stratocaster (Black)
Made by the Fujigen factory (the place that made Japanese Fender models for over a decade) for distribution by the Shimamura stores in Japan only, History models were mostly high end using exotic woods and quality constructions.
The Z1 was their basic Stratocaster model which features an alder body, maple neck with 22 frets and a 648mm scale length, weighs 3.4kg's Three SS-1 pickups along with a 5-way selector gives it the classic Strat tone and slight V '54 profile keeps the vintage feel.
Received a full setup and service prior to listing, plays and sounds good. Neck is straight and the truss is working well, frets have some pitting but were polished and play smooth. Has some dings and bumps but the finish is still shiny and clear, hardware has some patina but is fully functional.
