1999 Fender Japan Telecaster (Charcoal Burst)
Made in Japan in the late 90's, this is one of the lucky Japanese Fender Tele's that wears their CCB finish (Charcoal Burst). A slightly toasted basswood body with a 70's style maple neck and fretboard. Weighs 3.3kg's and is loaded with a Noiseless pickup in the neck position and a Seymour Duncan in the bridge.
Good overall condition with basic signs of wear. Electronic work was done by the previous owner and it has new strings and shiny frets but could use a basic setup if you're fussy.
Listed at a low price as we're not sure if the neck is original to the body. Both are genuine Fender Japan products, however we've only ever seen 52 and 62 reissue models in CCB. Neck stamps are TN70 for the neck and TL62 on the body. Sold as-is.
