1997 Greco Japan LG-70 Eclipse Style Les Paul (Black)
Conceived in the mid 1990's, the Greco LG series were made in an effort to compete with the ESP Eclipse models that surged in popularity in the early 90's. Basswood body, mahogany neck and a rosewood fingerboard and chrome finish hardware, it weighs 3.6kg's. Previous owner installed unbranded Invader style high gain pickups.
These are a genuinely great alternative to an LTD EC model, giving Japanese craftsmanship with an affordable price. Only sold to the Japanese market, these rarely surface in Australia.
Good used/vintage condition as pictured with a few signs of wear and use. Has replacement knobs and a new 3-way switch installed otherwise it appears all original. Given a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a fret polish, fretboard oil and truss adjustment. Frets have some light pitting but play smoothly and the neck is nice and straight.
