1996 Gibson USA "1962 J-45" Acoustic Guitar (Vintage Sunburst)
Made by Gibson, Montana in 1996, this classic is a Gibson J-45 1962 reissue model dreadnought acoustic guitar that was part of limited run model that predated Gibson's acoustic instrument Historic Division. These J-45's were a model ordered by Gibson's Japanese distributor (Yamano) and were only offered sold to the Japanese domestic market. Nitro finish with some light checking in spots, one-piece mahogany neck has a medium C-shaped profile carve with full shoulders and the thick slab rosewood fretboard features the factory fitted small frets.

Good vintage condition as pictured with some basic wear, received a restring and basic setup prior to listing including a fret polish and fretboard oil. Frets show some wear and light pitting but are shiny and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss, plays well with a medium action, saddle has some room to lower it more if need be. Seems all original except for the replaced pickguard.
