1994 Fernandes Japan FST-95S Stratocaster w/Sustainer (See-Thru Black)
This is the highest end FST model offered in the Fernandes Japan 1994 catalog, the FST-95S was factory loaded with the famous Fernndes Sustainer system that helped make the brand a household name. Ash body with a smooth satin maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, it weighs a hefty 4.1kg's which helps to produce a seriously solid tone. 22 frets with a 648mm scale length, it's factory loaded with a CD-100 Sustainer in the neck slot with THS-1 and THD-1 single coil and humbucker in the middle and bridge positions respectively.
Volume, tone and sustain volume knobs along with a 3-way pickup selector, on/off switch for the sustainer and 3-way mini toggle to select the harmonic tone of the sustain. Gotoh tuners and a Fernandes FRT floating/locking tremolo system rounds out what are some very impressive specs for a guitar at this pricepoint.
Very clean vintage condition with no notable chips or dings to the finish and only some light surface wear to the hardware and body. Looks to be all original as pictured, has a new battery installed. Frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life and the neck is straight with a functional truss.
