1993 Fender Japan ST62-70 '62 Reissue Stratocaster w/US Pickups + Fuzz (White)
Made in the Fujigen factory in 1993, the ST62-70 model was the Japanese reissue of the '62 model Fender Stratocaster. Weighs 3.5kg’s, vintage white finish on an alder body, aged glossy maple neck and 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius).
Factory loaded with Fender USA "ST-Vintage" single coil pickups, it appears all original with the very obvious addition of a 9v battery powered fuzz circuit that's been routed into the back..
Good used condition with only light signs of wear, frets have some light wear but were polished and play smoothly with no issues, the truss was adjusted prior to listing along with a restring and fretboard oil. The routing of the battery and fuzz circuit was done by the previous owner, the effect works well but the switching is slightly scratchy and is obviously an amateur job, sold as-is.
