1993 Fender Japan ST62-70 '62 Reissue Mod Stratocaster w/USA Pickups (Sunburst)
Made by the Fujigen factory in 1993, the ST62-70 was Fender Japan's mid-range model '62 Reissue Stratocaster. Sunburst finish on an alder body with a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), it weighs 3.5kg's. Loaded with the factory fitted Fender USA ST-Vintage single coil pickups in the neck and middle position and an aftermarket Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge position controlled by a 5-way selector, master volume and tone knobs and a kill-switch toggle. Previous owner also upgraded the pots to CTS and threw in an Orange Drop tone capacitor.
Good used condition for a 30 year old guitar as pictured with a few cosmetic bumps and dings from regular use. Restrung and given a basic service prior to listing. Truss works well and the frets were polished, they have life left and play smoothly with some light play wear, pots were flushed and lubed and the jack was cleaned.
