1992 Orville Japan Les Paul Standard (Tobaccoburst/Natural)
Made in the Japanese Terada factory under the watchful eye of Gibson. This particular Orville LPS has been lovingly used over the years, which is exactly what these "affordable Gibson" models were designed for!
Tobacco sunburst maple top with a natural finish on mahogany body and neck (somewhere between a 60's slim and 50s baseball bat profile i think?) that could be a custom factory finish as i've not yet seen anything comparable. Rosewood fingerboard, weighs 3.7kg's. Look to be the original pickups but there's not enough identifying features to be sure.
These Japanese guitars were made to be affordable options that played as well as their USA made counterparts but only cost a fraction of the price, and this one has lived that life to the fullest. Plenty of basic signs of use over the years but has been frequently serviced and is in perfect players condition as pictured. Received a full service and setup prior to being listed.
