1992 Ibanez EX-140 Experimental Series RG HSS Superstrat (Made in Japan)
The Ibanez EX series was marketed as an experimental series from Ibanez that was started in the late 1980's. While these were said to all be made in Korea, both the neck plate and headstock/serial number show that this guitar was made in Japan (which would make it possibly a custom build or a store special order?). Either way i doubt you'll ever see one again!
The specs seem to follow those of the EX-140 with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard and a slim maple neck, likely a basswood body. Traditional Stratocaster style tremolo system for those who don't favour the Floyd models, the HSS pickup configuration gives a huge range of tones.
Good overall condition, received a full professional setup and service prior to being listed. Frets have plenty of life and the action is smooth and low.
