1990's Yamaha RGX620R HH Superstrat (Made in Japan) w/Case
Made in Japan in 1990 (when Yamaha models had a great reputation), this RGX model was aimed at competing with the Ibanez RG and JEM models that were on the rise.
The RGX-620 has a smooth thin maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (24 jumbo frets, 628mm scale length) and contoured basswood body, weighs 3.7kg's. Seems to be all original with the exception of the finish being stripped from the body and the removal of the push/pull function for coil splits (easily reversed with a new pot).
Good vintage condition with plenty of signs of use and basic surface wear, structurally it's all good though with no cracks or breaks. Frets have plenty of life.
