1990's Yamaha Japan RGX512R HSS Superstrat (Black)
Made in Japan in the late 90's (when Yamaha models had a great reputation), this RGX model was aimed at competing with the Ibanez RG and Jackson Dinky models that were on the rise.
The RGX512R has a smooth thin maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (22 frets, 628mm scale length) and contoured basswood body, weighs 3.8kg's. Seems to be all original with the exception of the missing tremolo arm.
Received a full deep clean, setup and service prior to listing. Good used condition with some paint scuffs and dings. Frets have plenty of life and are polished, the truss works well and the neck is straight.
