1990's Fernandes FTR-380 Dual Humbucker Telecaster (Quilt Red)
Description:
Made in the 90's by Fernandes (the famous Japanese company responsible for some of the best guitars of the "lawsuit" era), this was a basic FTR model Telecaster aimed at heavier genres.
An artist model from the band Glay, the FTR-380 has a foto-quilt red finish on what's likely a basswood body, smooth maple neck with a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length). Weighs 3.5kg's.
Loaded with a pair of Gotoh Super Distortion pickups controlled with a three-way toggle and master volume/tone knobs, it's a true Les Paul competitor with the feel and look of a Tele. Neck through bridge and F stamped vintage style tuners.
Great overall condition with minimal cosmetic wear. Frets were polished and the fretboard was oiled prior to listing, plays and sounds great. Frets have plenty of life and the neck is straight.
