
1990 Yamaha Japan SG-RR P90 Standard (Made in Japan)
Made for only a few years between 1989 and 1991, the Yamaha SG-RR series are undoubtedly one of the best kept secrets in the world of Japanese guitars. These were are based on the Gibson SG Junior with some Yamaha flair.
Mahogany body and neck with a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale, 14" radius). This one is a full gloss blackout finish with a red tortoiseshell pickguard for a real classy look. Features Kluson style tuners and Alnico V style P90's (controled by a 3-way toggle and master volume/tone knobs), string-through body construction with a chrome bridge.
Used condition with plenty of basic surface grazes to the glossy finish but no major signs of damage as pictured. Plays smooth with a really low action, electronics are all original and working well.
